For some of the best flats fishing in the world, Ascension Bay and Bocapaila are a must for avid fishermen. You will be fishing for Bonefish, Permit, Snook, Tarpon, Jacks, Barracudas, Spanish Mackerel, etc.

It's great fishing all year round and noted as one of the top spots for Grand Slams – bonefish, tarpon and permit in one day. Add snook and go for the Super Grand Slam. It is all possible in this world renowned fishing spot south of Tulum. You will fish either area depending on your choice of catch and weather conditions. Because of the bay there is always shelter on windy days, which makes the fishing excellent 365 days of the year. Beginner and expert alike will enjoy this day of fishing off the beaten path.

Hotel pick-up – time depends on your hotel location

  • 8:00am – arrive at fishing lodge and have breakfast
  • 9:00am – 5:00pm – fishing

DAYS OF OPERATION: Daily

TIMES OF OPERATION: 5:00am to 8:00pm or less depending on the location of your hotel.

TIME OF PICK-UP: Cancun - 5:00am: Playa del Carmen – 6:00am: Tulum – 7:00am

DURATION OF TOUR: 10 to 15 hours depending on your hotel location with 7 to 8 hours fishing.

  • INCLUSIONS:
    round trip transportation if reserved, continental breakfast of rolls, juice and coffee, taxes, 8 hours guided fishing, boxed lunch on the flats, cooler contains: 2 beers, 2 sodas, 2 liters of water, 2 sandwiches and snacks per person, 1 rod with reel per person, fly or spinning


  • EXCLUSIONS:
    Flies and lures – you can purchase them at the lodge for $20usd each - we recommend you bring your own, ferry from Cozumel if you are coming from the island.


  • REQUIRED:
    $15usd/person fishing license and port fee to be paid in cash at check-in to the dock.


  • SUGGESTIONS:
    Hat, sunglasses, light jacket, extra cash for snacks and flies and lures
