Enter into the amazing Sac-Actun cenote system, the world's longest underground river, explored and recommended by National Geographic Snorkeler specialized cave divers. Snorkel in the Nohoch Nah Chiich cavern, surrounded by amazing rock formations and stalactites and stalagmites. Ride through the lush rain forest on our all-terrain Mercedes Benz Unimogs. Rappel into a beautiful cenote and swim in Yaxmuul, a unique natural pool. Zip line over the lush jungle. Discover a mystic cenote where you will participate in a traditional Mayan purification ceremony. All the locations are exclusive for this tour's small groups. The specialized tour guides are fully bilingual and will provide thorough explanations and directions before each activity.

ITINERARY

7:30am - 8:30am - Pick up at hotel lobby, time varies according to hotel location
9:30am - 1:30am - Tour - see below

  • Visit Rancho San Felipe, a secluded family ranch and meet the keepers of the Nohoch Nah Chiich cave, the amazing entrance to the Sac-Actun underground river system, the world's longest underwater river, explored about 95 miles.
  • Snorkel through unique rock formations and stalactites and stalagmites in the crystal clear waters.
  • Cross the jungle in Mercedes Benz Unimogs. Hike along a jungle path while learning about the best preserved biodiversity in the area.
  • Rappel 40ft down, and swim in Yaxmuul, a natural underground pond of pristine water and beautiful rock formations.
  • 3 zip line canopy circuit throughout the lush forest, one water landing.
  • Mayan purification ceremony in a beautiful dry cave.
  • Finish with a traditional lunch buffet of home-made food, soft drinks and hand-made tortillas.


  • DAYS OF OPERATION: Monday to Saturday.

    TIMES OF OPERATION: 7:30am to 3:00pm approximately depending on the location of your hotel.

    TIME OF PICK-UP: Pick-up time at your hotel will be indicated on the voucher when you reserve.

    DURATION OF TOUR: 4 hours plus travel time from your hotel and back.

  • INCLUSIONS:
    Round trip transportation in air conditioned van, ride in 4 x 4 all-terrain vehicle, bilingual tour guides, full snorkel and zip line gear, towel, bottled water, fruit snacks and lunch buffet.


  • EXCLUSIONS:
    People with severe physical or motor handicaps, serious heart problems, claustrophobia, obesity – over 120 kilos or 264 lbs, pregnant women, children under the age of 6 or those under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Does not include ferry tickets if staying on Cozumel, tips, alcoholic beverages, souvenirs or photographs.


  • REQUIRED:
    A desire to see the jungle in its natural state away from the crowds. To adhere to safety standards, your hands must be free for all the activities all the time; therefore only cameras that attach to your head or chest are allowed.


  • SUGGESTIONS:
    Wear bathing suit, comfortable clothing (long sleeves recommended ), extra set of clothing, hat, sport shoes, boots or ankle strap sandals ( no flip flops ), cash for souvenirs or photographs. Major credit cards accepted on the purchase of your photographs. Biodegradable insect repellent and a clean towel will be provided. No sunscreen is needed since all activities are performed in the shade.
